This page says, in plain language, what we collect on oasisliving.co, what we do with it, and what you can ask of us. OASIS Living, based in Medellín, Colombia, is responsible for the data described here.
What we collect
What you send us. When you use the welcome quiz, the search brief or a WhatsApp button, you choose what to share — typically your name, a way to reach you (WhatsApp, phone or email), your dates, budget, preferred areas and preferences. We only receive what you type or tap.
Visits, without cookies. We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it gives us aggregate counts (pages, visits, countries, load times) and cannot follow you across the web or build a profile of you. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cloudflare, our host, may set strictly-necessary security cookies to protect the site.
Preferences on your device. Your language choice and whether you've already seen the welcome quiz are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. They never reach our servers.
What we use it for
To answer you, match you with homes, and arrange stays or property management. That's it. We never sell your data, and we never share it for advertising.
Most conversations with us happen on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy. We see the messages you send to our numbers, and we treat them with the same care described here.
Where it lives and who sees it
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Inquiries are stored in our internal operations system, and only the OASIS team works with them.
How long we keep it
For as long as we're in conversation or working together, and as long as the law requires for stays and contracts. Ask us to delete your data and we will.
Your rights
Under Colombia's data-protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or revoke the authorization you gave us. Write to us and we'll act on it quickly — usually the same business day. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).
Privacy by design
One thing worth knowing: we never publish the exact address of any home. Map positions on this site are neighborhood-level, and the exact address is shared only with confirmed guests after booking.
